DHT22-temperatuur en -vochtigheid op een 7-segmentdisplay met Arduino RJT43

Dit project demonstreert hoe je een eenvoudig, maar effectief systeem kunt bouwen voor het weergeven van temperatuur- en luchtvochtigheidswaarden op een 7-segmentdisplay met behulp van een Arduino. Deze opstelling is nuttig voor verschillende toepassingen waarbij het monitoren van omgevingsomstandigheden cruciaal is. Het project combineert de DHT22-temperatuur- en luchtvochtigheidssensor met een TM1637 7-segmentdisplay, wat een duidelijke en gemakkelijk leesbare uitvoer biedt.

Projectideeën:

Hardware/Componenten

Om dit project te bouwen, heb je de volgende componenten nodig:

  • Arduino Uno (of compatibel bord)
  • DHT22-temperatuur- en luchtvochtigheidssensor
  • TM1637 7-segmentdisplay
  • Verbindingsdraden
  • Breadboard (optioneel, maar aanbevolen)

De bedrading is eenvoudig. Raadpleeg de video (in video op 01:51) voor een visuele gids. De belangrijkste verbindingen zijn:

  • TM1637-display: VCC naar 5V, GND naar GND, CLK naar Arduino-pin 2, DIO naar Arduino-pin 3 (in video op 02:00).
  • DHT22-sensor: VCC naar 5V, GND naar GND, DATA naar Arduino-pin 9 (in video op 02:20). Merk op dat de video Arduino-pin 8 gebruikt om 5V aan de sensor te leveren (in video op 02:41).

Uitleg van de code

De Arduino-code maakt gebruik van twee bibliotheken: TM1637Display voor het 7-segmentdisplay en DHT voor de DHT22-sensor. De configureerbare parameters van de code bevinden zich voornamelijk aan het begin:

Deze regels definiëren de Arduino-pinnen die zijn verbonden met het display en de DHT22-sensor. Mogelijk moet je deze aanpassen als je andere pinnen gebruikt. De getTemp()-functie (in video op 07:03) is cruciaal. Hiermee kun je verschillende waarden van de DHT22-sensor ophalen door een stringargument door te geven:

Deze functie vereenvoudigt het uitlezen van verschillende gegevens van de sensor (Celsius, Fahrenheit, luchtvochtigheid, hitte-index). De hoofdloop gebruikt deze functie om de gegevens op te halen en weer te geven op het 7-segmentdisplay, waarbij zwevende-kommagetallen worden afgerond op gehele getallen voor weergavedoeleinden (in video op 07:14).

Liveproject/Demonstratie

De video (in video op 00:32) toont een live demonstratie van het project. Het 7-segmentdisplay toont duidelijk de temperatuur in Fahrenheit. De video demonstreert ook hoe de code kan worden aangepast om Celsius, Kelvin, luchtvochtigheid en hitte-indexwaarden weer te geven (in video op 08:21).
