Sigma Micro SGL8022W single-channel touch chip for LED lightness regulation for Arduino
Operating voltage: 2.4V~5.5V
Maximum output current:500MA
PCB size:L23MM *W20MM Hole distance:16MM Aperture:2.5MM Voltage range:2.4-5V Maximum output current:500MA Features
1. The lamp brightness can be adjusted as required; it is very easy to operate.
2. It can be touched through medium protection, such as glass, acrylic, plastic, ceramics, and so on, which is very safe.
3. Wide application voltage range; you can choose arbitrarily between 2.4V and 4.5V.
4. Simple applied circuit, fewer peripheral devices, easy processing, and low cost.
5. Anti-power and phone interference; the EFT can reach above +/-2KV; the touch response sensitivity and reliability will not be affected by close distance or multi-angle mobile phone interference.
6. Installation: It does not need to touch copper foil directly; the dimming can be processed across acrylic glass (above 3mm) or plastic.
7. Application: It can control LED modules, lights, and so on. It is available for indoor LEDs, lighting lamps, and DIY automotive lights dimming refits.
8. Function: Single touch, using the principle of capacitive touch. The default function is switch, dimming, with brightness memory LED touch dimming. It will light slowly when turning on the lights and become dark slowly when turning off, which effectively avoids eye stimulation.
9. Dimming mode: Non-polar PWM dimming.
10. Wiring method: The PCB board (VCC, GND) is power input; (LED+, LED-) is connected with the LED lamps' positive and negative levels. The (fingerprint) touch area can also be wired to lead out (the wiring should not be too long). The copper skin area should be 2x3cm. With a copper foil copper foil board, the module will be on the shell side.
11. Using method a. A click touch (touch duration time is less than 550ms) can control the lamp. Click once, the lamp lights; click again, the lamp turns off. The initial brightness of the lights lit is fixed at 90% of the whole brightness. b. Pressing the touch for a long time (touch duration time is more than 550ms) allows for stepless dimming of the lights. Pressing for a long time once, light levels gradually increase. When released, the light levels are parked at the corresponding brightness. If pressed for more than three seconds, the light levels reach maximum brightness and do not change. Again, a long press touch gradually decreases light levels until released, parking at the corresponding brightness. If pressed for more than three seconds, the light levels reach minimum brightness and do not change. Note: The constant voltage dimmer output connected with the LED must have a cascaded current-limiting resistor. Size is for manual measurement; there may be a 0 to 2 cm error, which is normal.
