1. This simple water sensor can be used to detect soil moisture. When the soil moisture deficit module outputs a high level, the sensor outputs a low level, and vice versa. Use this sensor to create an automatic plant watering device, so that your garden plants require no manual management.
2. Sensitivity is adjustable via the blue digital potentiometer (Figure)
3. Operating voltage: 3.3V-5V
4. The module has a dual output mode: digital output and a more accurate analog output.
5. Features fixed bolt holes for easy installation
6. PCB size: 3cm * 1.6cm
7. Power indicator (red) and digital switching output indicator (green)
8. Uses a comparator LM393 chip for stability
Interface Description (4-wire)
1. VCC: 3.3V-5V
2. GND: GND
3. DO: digital output interface (0 and 1)
4. AO: Analog Output Interface
Instructions for use
1. The soil moisture module is most sensitive to ambient humidity and is generally used to detect soil moisture content.
2. When the module reaches a set threshold soil moisture value, the DO port outputs high. When soil humidity exceeds the set threshold value, the module D0 outputs low;
3. The digital output D0 can be directly connected to a microcontroller, which can detect high and low levels to detect soil moisture;
4. The digital output DO can drive a relay module or a buzzer module, creating a soil moisture alarm device;
5. The analog output AO can be connected to an AD converter module to obtain more precise soil moisture values;
